LAPTOP! Yes, I just bought my very own laptop! It's a lovely Dell, and I'm so happy with my purchase. I compiled my babysitting money from the past two years and decided that I should buy my own computer. Just thought I'd share my excitement with all of you!
Also, another exciting thing is that the American Girl store in Miami is opening in October, and it's less than an hour drive for me to go! So exciting!

I bought a Dell Inspiron 15 Laptop from Costco for the price of $499.99. It's the same price on the Dell website. It has a built-in webcam, 3 USB ports, a CD/DVD drive, and separate jacks for headphones and a microphone. I got a deal at Costco, though, because my laptop came with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, OneNote, and Power Point), and if you buy it from the Dell website it doesn't come with these programs. Buy it from Costco if you can, but from Dell it's still a great price! It is easy to use and the keyboard doesn't make a great amount of noise.
